For those that are interested in knowing what the Legal Technologist themes will be for 2024 then look no further. They will be:

Jan/Feb 2024: Legal Ops Careers (done) – Mar/Apr 2024: Dispute Resolution/Litigation Tech – May/Jun 2024: The impact of Gen AI on Legal – Jul/Aug 2024: [Summer Break – no issue] – Sep/Oct 2024: Managing Legal Knowledge – Nov/Dec 2024: No Code Revolution

Why themes?

Over the years the Legal Technologist magazine has been quite general – covering a number of different legal tech/ops areas all at once. By creating themes we can focus on a particular area of legal tech/ops and throw a spotlight on it. Each issue will be contain a curated set of content for that area – articles, interviews, etc. We’ll miss the summer issue going forward so that the team can have some proper downtime!

How do I contribute to a theme?

Please feel free to reach out to Marc MayMarco Mendola or Ariana Vojvodić if you’d like to contribute content for a particular issue (or to the website). As a guide the editorial cut off will be the first day of each theme and each article should be circa 750 words.

If the content relates to careers in legal tech/ops then it will go through Legal Ops Career and get promoted through that channel. Non-theme content can be contributed at any time – however, just be aware that it will only be placed on the website and not published in an issue.

Any marketing/advertising queries should be directed to Marc May specifically.
